El prologo nos muestra un padre enfadado con su hija que la castiga encerrándola en el sótano, y un asesino de ultratumba que mata a este y a la madre. Unos años mas tarde, un radioaficionado recibe un extraño mensaje por radio, y decide investigar, con su novia, la procedencia de dicho mensaje.
