SELLING IN TODOCOLECCION
WHAT CAN I SELL IN TODOCOLECCION?
You can sell anything in Todocolección. If your item is not related to collecting, you have the Emporium section in which to sell it.
HOW MANY SALES OPTIONS ARE THERE?
We make two sales options available: DIRECT SALE and AUCTIONS
For each one of your items you can choose whichever option you prefer.
WHAT DOES TODOCOLECCION CHARGE?
For the use of its services, Todocolección charges sellers a monthly fee, which will depend on the fee system that the seller chooses: a variable fee or a fixed fee.
WHAT DOES A FIXED FEE MEAN?
Sellers only pay Todocolección a fixed monthly fee, without any other additional or hidden cost, independently of the number of sales made. Sellers who work in this way own a Todocolección shop.
Todocolección shops offer specific sales management tools, which are not available to variable fee sellers.
WHAT DOES A VARIABLE FEE MEAN?
Sellers pay Todocolección a commission for successful sales made during a month. The commission is applied to the price the item has been sold for, independently of the sale option (Direct sale or Auction) used to sell the item.
Todocolección considers a sale to be successful when a buyer has received the item bought and has paid the seller.
Sellers do not pay anything to put items on sale, nor for the number of items on sale, nor to appear in the Photo Gallery, nor to insert various photographs for the same item, nor to place items in a prominent place, nor for visits received.
IS IT EASY TO KNOW HOW MUCH I HAVE TO PAY?
Very easy since our FEES are simple to work out:
If the sales option is the fixed fee, the fee is always the same and depends on the price contracted for the Todocolección shop.
If the sales option is the variable fee, you will always have to consult MyTodocoleccion. You will always have access to the state of each month´s commission. You will not need to make any complicated calculations, nor apply a formula or algorythms to know how much to pay.
HOW DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE COMMISSION?
The following options are available:
- Direct debit / Automatic Bank Payment
- Credit card
The Direct Debit option is only available to sellers with a Spanish bank account.
WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY?
If you are on a Variable Fee:
- A minimum of 45 days after the last possible sale. In April, for example, we charge for the sales made in February, in May, for the sales made in March and so on.
- On the 10th of each month we will send you a pre-bill by e-mail, including the list of items sold and the fee to be paid for them
- On the 15th of each month, after having had 5 days to resolve any issues, you will receive the final bill by e-mail
- From this day on, we will start to charge sellers depending on the payment method chosen
- If for any reason, after a commission for a sale has been paid, the sale is cancelled, we would discount the paid commission from the following bill
If you are on a Fixed Fee, we also charge you a minimum of 45 days after the end of the month, i.e., in May we will charge the Todocolección Shop fee from March, in June the fee from April and so on.
CAN I CHANGE FROM A VARIABLE FEE TO A FIXED FEE OR THE OTHER WAY ROUND?
Yes, you can. You can change from a variable fee to a fixed one at any time. You only need to apply to open a Todocolección shop.
If you already have a shop and you want to change to a
variable fee, you only need to apply to cancel your Todocolección shop account (the cancellation will take place at the end of the month) so that the following month you will start on a variable fee. You can also upgrade from a Todocolección shop to a bigger size one if you wish to expand your business, or to downgrade to a smaller size one.
