Marioneta original usada en el prólogo de la película Drácula de Bram Stoker.

    Con certificado de autenticidad.

Mace soldier puppet used in Bram Stoker's Dracula.

A puppet used in the horror drama Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Taking over from a colleague who has become insane, lawyer Jonathan Harker (Keanu Reeves) travels to Transylvania to meet Count Dracula (Gary Oldman), not realising the danger that awaits for him and his fiancée Mina (Winona Ryder).

This puppet and others like it were used during the film’s dramatic prologue as the great battle between the forces of the then-Christian Count Dracula and the Turks is retold with shadow puppets. Made of wood and card with a black paint finish, the puppet is that of one of the Christian soldiers wielding a massive mace. The arms are held up in the air as the soldier swings the mace, with lengths of tape applied during production to hold the puppet in place.

The paint finish on the puppet has suffered in places and some damage has been suffered from use and time spent in storage. However, in spite of these minor flaws, the puppet remains in an otherwise good production-used condition. The puppet is displayed in a stunning bespoke framed display, featuring a gothic frame and a laser-cut mount board with the film’s logo and stills from the film. The front panel opens to allow direct access to the piece.
