Pair of Large French Officer Percussion Pistols 1850/1860 in case. Walnutt checkered root stocks in mint condition, silver scutcheon on back, steel barrel eightfold, past Damashened all long with grooves , with St Etienne proof marks, ( on the barrel right side), signed but could not identify, also " Ruban" under the barrel , steel garrisons w/same decorations with vegetalists motifs . Very good quality steel in beautiful shinning patina.The lock " front action" has engravings, so does the hammer . Working fine, very strong springs.Nipples ok.

In a Mahogany wood case, with key ( this is not is original case) same scratches on top . Interior lined with " Blue velvet", compartmentalized: Brass Powder flask XIX century ( a nice and rare one), Bullet mold .
Apocryphal; Oil bottle, screwdriver,nipple box.
