Khepri, el escarabajo divino egipcio, es una figura central de este panteón, que simboliza la renovación y la regeneración. Este tipo de escarabajos eran amuletos funerarios fundamentales en el Imperio Nuevo (c. 1550-1070 a.C. Khepri, the Egyptian divine scarab, is a central figure in this pantheon, symbolizing renewal and regeneration. Symbols and deities related to creation and the cycle of life played an essential role in ancient Egypt, forming the framework of its cosmology and its understanding of the world.

These scarab beetles were fundamental funerary amulets in the New Kingdom (c. 1550-1070 BC). The scarab represented Khepri, god of the rising sun, who pushed the solar disk into the sky each morning, just as these insects propelled balls of dung to reproduce. The use of lapis lazuli was intentional: this deep blue mineral evoked the night sky and was directly associated with divinity, immortality, and celestial wisdom.
