Artista: ALBERT ESTRADA VILARRASA (VIC, 1934 – SABADELL, 2022) Acuarelista y Cónsul Honorario de la República de Eslovenia en Barcelona, fue un personaje poliédrico cuya vida combinó la vocación diplomática, la creación artística y el impulso editorial. Con una sólida trayectoria industrial en el ámbito de la construcción y la metalurgia, desarrolló paralelamente una intensa actividad artística como pintor acuarelista, técnica que revolucionó con un estilo personal entre el romanticismo naturalista y el postimpresionismo. Formado en la Escuela Municipal de Dibujo de Vic, expuso desde los años setenta en galerías y museos de España y del extranjero, destacando instituciones como el Museo Nacional de Eslovenia, la Galería Estatal del Korda Garden en Varsovia o la Universidad de Tel Aviv. En 1980 fundó la editorial AUSA, desde la cual impulsó la colección Mundo Antiguo, centrada en estudios orientalistas y la historia antigua de Hispania. Fue académico correspondiente de la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando y de la Reial Acadèmia Catalana de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi. Recibió diversas distinciones, como la Medalla de Honor del Concurso nacional de la Agrupación de Acuarelistas (1976) o el homenaje de la Universidad de Barcelona (2003). Su obra ha sido publicada en numerosos libros y álbumes, a menudo acompañada por textos de autores como Camilo José Cela o Baltasar Porcel.
