• is a highly sought-after and historically significant EP from British heavy metal band Iron Maiden.
• It was their very first release, issued on 9 November 1979, and contains some of their earliest recordings.
• The EP was named after the Soundhouse, a popular heavy metal club in London where the band frequently performed and received early support.

Background:

The Soundhouse Tapes was recorded on 30 and 31 December 1978 at Spaceward Studios in Cambridge.

The EP was produced on a very limited budget and only 5,000 copies were pressed, making the originals a rarity that is highly prized by collectors.

These recordings captured the raw energy of Iron Maiden and marked the beginning of the band's legendary career.

Authentic copies of The Soundhouse Tapes are highly sought after, with counterfeits being common.
