Following his furious solo debut, Blizzard of Ozz, former Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne presents his second studio album, Diary of a Madman – definitively cementing his reputation as the "Prince of Darkness" of hard rock.

Together with exceptional guitarist Randy Rhoads, Ozzy presents a work full of dark atmosphere, powerful riffs, and gripping melodies. Songs like "Over the Mountain" and "Flying High Again" combine raw energy with technical brilliance, while epic pieces like the title track, "Diary of a Madman," blend the progressive with the theatrical.

The album showcases Ozzy at the height of his creativity: wild, unpredictable, yet astonishingly catchy. Osbourne's distinctive voice, Rhoads' virtuoso guitar work, and the band's powerful interplay make Diary of a Madman a milestone of early '80s metal.

To this day, the record is considered one of his strongest releases and a legacy of Randy Rhoads, who tragically died in a car accident in 1982.
