Test pressings with original and specially produced company covers are extremely rare and sought after by collectors

"Pink Floyd - The Piper at the Gates of Dawn"

-is the debut album by the British progressive rock band Pink Floyd.

The album was first released in 1967 and is considered one of the seminal works of psychedelic rock and progressive rock.

The album was dominated by Syd Barrett, the band's founding member and main songwriter at the time.

One side is to be referred to as Poor to VG, the other as VG

The labels have stains

The cover is still in good condition as a test press for its age and extent of use and can be rated as VG++.

As a Japanese test press edition, they never had a booklet or an OBI

The LP is purely a collector's item, of which 5-7 pieces exist worldwide and should therefore of course be valued differently.

It is a unique, irreplaceable testimony and is one of the first LPs (test press always for the official one, see text above) that were produced by Pink Floyd.

For every Floyd this is the "Holy Kral"

The last one was sold on Discogs VG / VG+ in September 2020 for € 6110
