Rare Japanese promo edition of Sparks' legendary 12th studio album, released in 1983.

This pressing (Atlantic P-11360) bears the promo character (white label or officially marked) and is aimed at discerning collectors.

In Outer Space, Sparks paved his way back into the charts in the 1980s with the mega-hit "Cool Places" (a duet with Jane Wiedlin), which not only reached number 49 on the Billboard Hot 100 but also marked his breakthrough on the US dance charts.
