Evita es un musical con música de Andrew Lloyd Webber y letra de Tim Rice. Está inspirado en libro "Evita: The Woman With the Whip" de Mary Main, basada en la vida y muerte de Eva Perón (1919-1952) y su influencia en la historia argentina a partir del ascenso al poder de su esposo Juan Perón como presidente del país.

La primera interpretación de Evita se realizó por medio de un disco producido en 1975. Los intérpretes eran Julie Covington (Evita), Colm Wilkinson (Che), Paul Jones (Juan Perón), Barbara Dickson (la amante) y Tony Christie (Agustín Magaldi).
